We currently are expanding our Education Department and have an immediate need for a Director of Education.
This position will be responsible planning, developing and implementing educational programs for CEDIA members and potential new clients. They will have following responsibilities:
• Direct and manage all aspects Educational Staff and Programs
• Support growth and management of the CEDIA certification program
• Manages the CEDIA Professional Development Advisory Committee and other Sub Committees
• Works closely with CEDIA volunteers who serve as subject matter experts and training instructors
• Manage instructor selection process for all education related face-to-face events
• Manage course selection process for all education related face-to-face events in conjunction with content experts
• Manage instructor selection for Boot Camps and third-party events in conjunction with content experts
• Manage evaluation process for all education related face-to-face events including gathering, analyzing, and responding to participant feedback
• Initiate fact finding for education-related events and subsequently work with internal departments to coordinate efforts including membership, marketing, meetings, events, and sales
• Work in tandem with our Global satellite offices to logistically support education-related events and programs
• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to provide quality education and certification programs and positive member experiences
• Develop and administers the department budget
• Must possess strong written, analytical, and organizational skills, and the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; with a minimum of 3 years related experience
• Adult Education background or related experience and/or training
• Proven Leadership abilities and prior experience managing a staff
• Volunteer Management experience preferred
